Days 17 and 18

Day 17 I had jasmine tea,  which I thoroughly enjoyed despite the fact that it’s technically green tea.  It didn’t taste overly… green, so It was rather nice.

Day 18, I once again burned myself badly.  This is lemongrass ginger citrus herbal tea, which I prefer to a lot of the others (not all, but many).  It has a pleasant spice to it (the ginger, obviously) which makes it more memorable than others have been, especially others that I’ve liked.  Sadly, I can remember the bad ones pretty well.

Days 15 and 16

Day 15 was peppermint tea.  I liked it, not a lot but enough, but in the end I wasn’t really in the mood and had to stop halfway through and pawn it off on my mom.

Day 16, today, is strawberry ceylon tea.  Not only is it not particularly strong (I was hoping for a nice strawberry flavor), I burned the hell out of my lips in the process.  I’m in pain.  I’ll finish the cup, though.

Days 13 and 14

I’ve been getting a little lazy apparently but no matter.

Day 13 was raspberry herbal tea.  It smelled as bad as the cherry but the flavor was more on par with the blueberry - nothing life-changing, but good enough to finish off all the bags.

Day 14 was straight-up boring green tea.  Not only did it require a third teaspoon of sugar, I had to dump half of it because it got cold before I finished.  I didn’t adore it even with the extra sugar, so no loss.

Day 12

Red tea is easily one of my favorites of the bunch.  It is just delightful.  I think earl grey might still sit above it, but I’ll need another sample since it’s been a while since I tried it.  I’ll definitely be buying red tea in the future.  It’s also nice that it’s caffeine-free.

Day 11

Lemon herbal tea is actually far tastier than expected.  I figured it would taste like Thera-Flu, but really it tastes like someone mixed a tiny bit of tea with lemonade, and that’s pretty good.  I wouldn’t want to drink this every day, but I’ll give it a thumbs up.

Day 10

Today I tried honey vanilla chamomile tea.  It tastes like pure sugar.  Dear god.

Day 9

This post is a day late because I was so exhausted by the time I had the chance to go online that I didn’t bother.

I had green tea with pomegranate.  I couldn’t manage more than a sigh in response.  It smelled awful before brewing, okay after, and tasted… odd.  I didn’t like it much.

Today’s tea will be up later, because I haven’t made it yet.

Day 8

Today’s tea was black cherry herbal.  Nothing could have prepared me for this.  It was one of the worst things I’ve ever had in my mouth.  It was worse than the mixed berry, and it was the first tea I’ve tried where I took two sips and had to pour it out.  I had another cup of blueberry instead, since my very first thought was “This is everything I was afraid that blueberry would be.”

Day 7

Today’s tea is mixed berry herbal tea.  It smells a bit like medicine.  It tastes a bit like medicine.  I won’t be buying this one again once it runs out.

Day 6

Today’s tea was peony white tea.  It tasted like nothing, so I’ll call it a win.
